Digital Visions is a juried virtual on-line exhibition co-ordinated by emergent artists and curators at the University of British Columbia, Canada.

 
The Digital Vision committee invites artists to submit work for review each year, typically at the end of the first month (ie. january 31). Late submissions can be considered. The committee is reviewing new media works in various categories. Please feel free to submit ideas, concepts or proposals about forthcoming work in relationship to the themes presented listed in the guidelines or before hand.

Please distribute this submission notice to students, faculty, staff, artist centers and related persons. All submissions welcome for review!

All applicants must submit a brief synopsis of the work, an artist statement, a short bio, and list of previous works.

We are looking for art that criticizes digital art and its limitations in several key areas. These include but are not exclusive to

Space and Time

Identity and Net realities

Digital critique and parody

Interactive Net Art

Submission Procedures

Please email a description of your proposed work as an artist statement, and a small bio describing yourself. Please reference currently developed works via their URL, and ensure that all texts submitted are pasted into the body of your email submission (no attachments please)

Please note you may not hear back for sometime if you submit a concept mid-year
